Lake County's 30th Sheriff began his law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff
at the Lake County Sheriff's Office on May 13, 1973. Twenty years later he
was elected as Sheriff in January
1993. Currently in his fourth term of Office he brings to Lake County over
35 years of experience in law enforcement.
Sheriff Dunlap is a life-long resident of lake
County; he and his wife Dorothy, reside in a Century home in Concord Township,
Ohio. They have three children; Lisa, Justin and Douglas; as well as one
grandson and two granddaughters.
